I know this is a very sensitive topic. Our children are being exposed to it everyday from peers, TV, Videos and even commercials. How old should your child be before you discuss the birds and the bees.

I would discuss it with my daughter as early as possible. But for girls, I would do it as soon as they enter "womanhood". I wish my parents would have talked to me. My mother found out I had sex a year after I had it and told me to "never do it again". That was my talk, lol.

I know, you have to talk to them as soon as they can comprehend the word sex. It's scary out here. Now here's a question. Would you advise your son and daughter to wait until they are married? Or would you have your son get all he can and just tell your daughter to wait? It's not surprising but a lot people do that without even realizing it. The next thing you know, you're a grandparent.

The topic is being introduced in the wrong settings by kids that know nothing about it. They are talking from other kids experiences.

THATS A VERY INTERESTING QUESTION!!! AS A MAN I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT I WOULD SUGGEST MY SON GET HIS FILL OF IT BEFORE HE BECOMES SERIOUSLY INVOLVED WITH SOMEONE. AS A YOUNG DUDE I NEVER REALLY UNDERSTOOD WHY MY POPS AND UNCLE (BOTH BONAFIDE PLAYERS, LOL) WOULD TELL ME NOT TO HAVE ONE GIRLFRIEND BUT TO DATE ALOT OF GIRLS. BEING THAT I WAS IN A RELATIONSHIP AT THE TIME I JUST BLEW IT OFF. BUT THE KNOWLEDGE BEHIND WHAT THEY WAS TRYING TO GET THRU TO ME IS THAT YOU HAVE TO EXPERIMENT, NOT ALL GIRLS ARE WILLING TO DO THE THINGS YOU WANNA DO, GET OUT AND EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT TYPES OF WOMEN, GET ALL THE FREAK OUT OF YOU SO WHEN ITS TIME FOR YOU TO SETTLE DOWN YOU WONT HAVE THOSE URGES OR REGRET THAT YOU NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO DO ALOT OF THE THINGS YOU WANTED TO. THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY MOST PEOPLE CHEAT.

First of all, people cheat for all sorts of reasons. It just doesn't have to be the physical aspect of it. No as far as telling the girls to wait.....I can see why the boys are treated differently from the girls. I personally don't think it's right, but boys are made to protect themselves in any situation, while girls are the ones that are supposed to be protected. But I still wouldn't tell my daughter to wait until she's married. I would make sure that she is fully informed and protected and make sure that she carry herself with dignity and class.

YEAH I KNOW BUT ONE OF THE MOST COMMON REASONS IS THE PHYSICAL ASPECT. I ALSO THINK GIRLS SHOULD GET THAT WILD STREAK OUT OF THEM BEFORE THEY SETTLE DOWN TOO. BUT MOST WOMEN HAVE A HARD TIME SEPARATING THEIR HEART FROM THEIR P*SSY, SEX IS MORE OF AN EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR WOMEN THAN IT IS FOR MEN.

Sex is an emotional experience for women. I completely agree with that. It's never been a problem for me though. I guess that's why I wouldn't tell my daughter to wait.
