As a result of the Packers trading Brett Favre to the NY JETS. That made one QB expendable. In with Favre, out with Pennington. Chad Pennington is no longer a Jet. I really could care less, but it is sports news worthy. The Dolphins are now in talks with Chad about the possiblity of him becoming a Miami Dolphin reuniting him with the coach that drafted him back in 2000, Bill Parcells. Neither the JETS, DOLPHINS OR PACKERS MAKE THE PLAYOFFS THIS SEASON. Now when it goes down like that, remember you heard it here first.

After 16-17 seasons, it was time, from an organization stand point, if he didn't get me to the superbowl after having a shot at it. Watching the gunslinger throw another inteception in the final minutes of yet another game that sends you home for the season. I'd would have forced his hand too.

I still can't believe that people used to compare Pennington to Joe Montana. LOL! NOT THAT I CARE OR KNOW THE WHOLE STORY BUT BRETT SAID THAT HIS HAND WAS KINDA FORCED INTO RETIRING BY THE PACKERS. I don't really believe that, but it wouldn't really surprise me if that's what happened. I mean, Favre's been jerking the Packers around for the last couple of years about whether he was retiring or not. Maybe they told him make a decision and cut the crap.
